Burma VJ: Reporting from a Closed Country, a Danish documentary film project, directed by Anders Østergaard and Lise Lense-Møller, that won the DokMa 2009 Trinagle Muscle Award, is now nominated for Best Documentary Feature at this years Academy Awards. Inside Burma, hidden from the repressive military regime that has ruled the country for many decades, courageous journalists - Burma VJs - secretly videotape events around them and smuggle the tapes out of the country to foreign news agencies.
